The Circular Fashion Federation (FMC) has announced the creation of a European award called the Circular Fashion Synergies Awards. More than just a reward for sustainable fashion projects, this award aims to honor collaborations that concretely promote the development of the circular economy within the textile industry.

In the current context of the fashion industry, facing major environmental and regulatory challenges, the transition to sustainable economic models has become imperative. The importance of this new award lies in its ability to highlight solutions that go beyond experimentation to become operational, profitable, and deployable on a large scale. To achieve this, the FMC aims to reward active players in the areas of second-hand, repair, upcycling, eco-design, and recycling.

According to Maxime Delavallée, president of the Circular Fashion Federation, “[The Circular Fashion Synergies Awards] demonstrate that the integration of circular solutions into large organizations is not only possible but already underway on a European scale.”

Applications for this first edition are open until April 30. The submitted projects must be born out of an operational collaboration between complementary actors, have been deployed after 2022, already shown observable results, and be active in the European market.

Selected candidates will compete for two distinct awards: – The Jury Prize, awarded by a panel of European leaders and institutional figures; – The Public Prize, elected by the mobilized community in the sector during a social media voting campaign.

The award ceremony will take place on June 4, 2026, at Sciences Po Paris, during Circular Fashion Day.
