Constance Jablonski: In 2008, the myth of an apple a day as a single meal was very much a reality in the fashion world

The top French model, who has been walking for the biggest names in fashion since she was 17, advocates for natural beauty. She swears by wellness and pharmacy products.

“Do not style your hair too tightly back, the blood might not reach the roots of your hair, and they will eventually fall out!” This surprising advice, given by her father when she was still a child, still amuses Constance Jablonski today. “He was a dermatologist, and my mother was a pharmacist. At home, the motto was clear: Less is more! This philosophy of never overdoing it, taking care of the skin by washing it only with soap, while limiting the use of creams, clearly shaped my childhood. Fortunately, my grandmother’s drawers were filled with brightly colored lipsticks! They were very thick, with such a distinctive smell that I could recognize among a thousand. I loved spending my afternoons trying them on, not forgetting to spray myself with her perfumes with enveloping notes of patchouli.”

A minimalist routine

Years later, the 34-year-old top model, hailing from a small town near Lille, has never really abandoned this minimalist routine. In fact, Constance Jablonski, a mother of two children – a 4-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl, whom she had with her partner, BMX champion Matthias Dandois – now swears by pharmacy products only for her skincare routine, especially the multi-purpose balms with 100% natural formulas from the sustainable cosmetics brand Les Petits Précieux, of which she recently became an associate. “Face, body, lips, makeup, hands, hair, children’s minor injuries… In the bathroom or behind the scenes of fashion shows, I use them everywhere, for everything and for the whole family. For the rest, a face cream with vegetable retinol based on kale (also from Les Petits Précieux), a mascara, a lip pencil, and a touch of highlighter are the only products I use in my personal life.”

Focusing on authenticity

Natural beauty is therefore the motto of the French top model, who has been walking for the biggest names in fashion since she was 17. Her beauty icon is the former Malibu beach star, now free of all her artifices: “I am a huge fan of Pamela Anderson. She reassures me about the passing of time, and I simply want to age like her. At 58 and with a life full of challenges, she exudes an incredible self-confidence and seems happier than ever. Her fresh complexion, luminous skin, makeup-free face, natural lips: I find her radiant. And there is nothing that can make a woman more beautiful and fascinating than being authentic.” In short, the constancy of simplicity and personal fulfillment. With wellness, always in sight. But especially on the sidelines of the industry in which she evolved.

Focusing on well-being

“When I moved to New York to start modeling, right after high school, I wanted to continue studying on the side. The famous plan B, just in case… I got a degree in nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). What is interesting about this school is that it sees nutrition in a broad sense, i.e., everything that nourishes the mind, body, and above all, makes you happy: from food to sports to family dinners or drinks with friends. This training was completely against the grain of the modeling profession I was discovering. Because in 2008, the myth of an apple a day as a single meal was unfortunately very real in the fashion world. Models were asked to be even thinner. It was even harder for me, being 1.80m tall… No matter how much weight I lost, the structure of my bones remained the same. This training allowed me to (re)focus on my own well-being.” And to multiply success stories. Because Constance Jablonski is also the co-founder of French Bloom, a non-alcoholic sparkling wine made from organic Chardonnay from Languedoc. Present in over fifty countries, the brand launched in 2021 saw its growth double by 2025. The idea of a balanced blend of social life and well-being.
