We add cinema, school holidays and family moments thanks to these three current releases.
“JumpersÂ,” in theaters March 4
“Jumpers” is in the purest tradition of the Disney-Pixar studio, telling an intergenerational story with current themes and endearing characters. Directed by Daniel Chong, Newborn tells the story of Mabel, a rebellious teenager who, thanks to experimental technology, projects herself into the body of an ultra-cute beaver – inspired by the robot animals in animal documentaries. Result? A playful, tender, visually appealing work very beautiful and with sometimes very adult humor. If “Jumpers” seduces with its humor and its little talking animals, its other charming assets lie in promoting the importance of mutual aid and the commitment of young generations to the ecological future of our planet. But be careful, the villain can be truly frightening for sensitive young souls.

“Arco”, returns to cinemas on March 4
“The Caesar effect” benefits “Arco”, an animated film awarded a Caesar during the 2026 ceremony – and already winner of the Annecy Crystal in 2025 – which is being released in cinemas in around forty theaters in France for a catch-up session. Perfect timing for these February holidays. The story? In 2075, a little boy from the future and another planet traveled back in time to discover dinosaurs. Only problem: he was at the wrong time and therefore has only one idea in mind, to turn back. To help him in this endeavor, he can count on Iris, an ingenious little Earthling. In addition to being a little gem of poetic animation with a very “Captain Flam” aesthetic, the work produced by the comic strip artist Ugo Bienvenu, benefits from the support of a certain Natalie Portman, co-producer. In a few days, moreover, “ Arco” will walk the red carpet at the Oscars where it competes in the best animated feature film category.

“Super Charlie”, in cinemas since February 18
Directed and written by Jon Holmberg, “Super Charlie” is a Swedish animated film, adapted from the children’s novels of Camilla Läckberg (yes, the author known for her thrillers), which revisits with gentleness and humor the world of superheroes from a children’s perspective. It’s the story of Charlie, a newborn with powers, whose mission is to derail the diabolical plan of a Machiavellian scientist. To carry out this mission, he is coached by his big brother Will, ten years old, who would have liked to have a vigilante cape. Implicitly, this 1h20 cartoon with glossy colorimetry and many references to DC Comics speaks above all of the difficulties of finding one’s place in a family, of the jealousy aroused by the birth of a baby but also of the importance of family support.
