After 3 years of waiting, season 4 of Tokyo Revengers reveals its release date and its first images

December 23, 2023 was not a day like any other. It was on this date that Liden Films offered the last episode of season 3 of Tokyo Revengersthe anime adapted from the work of Ken Wakui. However, if the manga has been finished since November 2022, the series is far from having said its last word.

And so it’s been 828 days (i.e. 2 years, 3 months and 7 days) that fans have been impatiently awaiting the continuation of Takemichi’s adventures. An interminable wait which, miraculously, is about to end. While his season 4 has already been announced as the lasthis return has been made official for this year.

At present, no precise release date is known, but we do know that the next episodes of Tokyo Revengers will be released in October 2026. On the other hand, we do not know whether the simulcast will be offered by Crunchyroll or Disney+, which each broadcast the series in France.

Plot-wise, without much surprise, the anime will adapt this time l’arc The War of the Three Titans (War of the Three Titans).

To this end, a first trailer has even been revealed (see in our slideshow) which promises us new sequences of spectacular action and bloody bravery, but also the introduction of new mysterious characters such as: Takeomi Akashi (Naoyuki Shimozuru), Wakasa Imaushi (Shinnosuke Tachibana), Keizo Arashi (Takanori Hoshino) and South Terano (Hiroki Yasumoto).

It now remains to be seen whether the anime will opt for a different ending while that of the manga – published by Glenat, had strongly divided the fan base at the time.
