Razer Hammerhead V3: these new gaming headphones hide a secret in their case

Razer is expanding its audio catalog with the Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed, a new generation of true wireless gaming headphones designed to support gamers on PC, mobile and portable consoles. The brand highlights dual connectivity combining Razer HyperSpeed ​​Wireless in 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 6.0, with the idea of ​​switching from one device to another without sacrificing responsiveness.

Dual connectivity to switch from one device to another

At the heart of this new reference, we find a low latency connection via HyperSpeed Wireless, designed for gaming uses, while Bluetooth 6.0 should ensure a more stable and more energy-efficient connection for everyday use. Razer is thus banking on headphones capable of covering both a competitive session on a PC and a more traditional listening on a smartphone.

The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed ​​is based on a multifunction case which is not only used for recharging. This also serves as a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver when the HyperSpeed ​​dongle is integrated. Razer adds to this its SmartSwitch function, supposed to facilitate switching between HyperSpeed ​​connection and Bluetooth depending on the device used.

Noise reduction, autonomy and spatialization on PC

On the audio side, the brand highlights an active noise reduction system that is more efficient than before. Razer announces an improved reduction in noise pollution of almost 50% compared to the previous generation, with the aim of better isolating the player in noisy environments, whether at home, on the move or in transport.

Autonomy constitutes another argument put forward by the manufacturer. The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed ​​promises up to 40 hours of use in total, including 10 hours with the earbuds alone and an additional 30 hours via the case.

PC users will also benefit from compatibility with THX Spatial Audio, via the Razer Synapse 4 app. The brand evokes virtual spatialization in 7.1, intended to improve the perception of directional sounds and reinforce immersion, particularly in competitive games.

A more affordable version also on the program

At the same time, the brand is also launching the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed, a more accessible version. This model maintains a multiplatform approach with a Razer HyperSpeed ​​Wireless 2.4 GHz connection and Bluetooth 5.3, but in a simpler formula.

The Razer Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed ​​are priced at 139.99 euros, while the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed ​​are priced at 89.99 euros. Both models are already available on Razer.com and through authorized resellers.
