On March 26, 2026, Deck Line and Square Enix launched a new opus to the Life is Strange saga, called Life is Strange: Reunion. It directly follows “Double Exposure”, released in 2024. The tests of the video game itself are generally positive, but still note several negative points, with scores generally around 7/10. As for amateur players of the narrative genre, on the other hand, we are visibly more enthusiastic, and the game, for example, has 91% positive reviews on Steam at the time we publish this news.

But as good hardware enthusiasts that we are, it is not a test of the game and its qualities that we are now going to talk about, but a “Performance Test”, based as its name indicates on the performance of the game with various graphics cards. Our colleagues at ComputerBase tested 19 different ones on the game, which, as a reminder, uses the graphics engine Unreal Engine 5.

The opportunity to discover, as you will be able to see, that the AMD Radeons are doing extremely well on this game, including the Radeon RX 7000. The RDNA 3 is holding up, more in any case than on most recent titles. On the NVIDIA side, the Blackwell architecture of the GeForce RTX 50 seems to be struggling in this title, and fails to widen the gap against the GeForce RTX 40 in Ada Lovelace.

The test is in German, so do not hesitate to activate the translator of your internet browser if you do not master the language of Tokio Hotel (Durch den Monsuuuuuuuun).
