Since their launch, the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT have been solid graphics cards but unfortunately not always aligned with AMD’s pricing statement. At the beginning of April 2026, things are changing on the German market. Several references now fall below the European recommended prices.
This is good news for gamers looking to purchase a new graphics solution for their PCs. At the time of checking, Geizhals lists Asus’ Prime Radeon RX 9070 OC from 553 euros, while ASRock’s Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger is listed from 640 euros.
These two prices are well below the European prices generally associated with launch, i.e. 629 euros for the RX 9070 and 689 euros for the RX 9070 XT. The change is therefore there but be careful it only concerns specific models.
In the United States, the situation is different
The contrast with the American market remains clear. On PCPartPicker, for example, models like the Prime OC Radeon RX 9070 are priced at $659.99, while Radeon RX 9070 XT like the XFX Swift are priced around $739.99. This remains above the launch prices announced by AMD.
Indeed AMD made these Radeon RX 9070 standard. On paper, the positioning was therefore interesting and competitive. In reality these prices have often been difficult to find.
The Radeon RX 9070 256-bit, with a game clock of 2.1 GHz and a boost of up to 2.5 GHz for a consumption of 220 W.
