Perfectly aware of having a little more than a video game (what’s more, the best-selling in history with more than 300 million sales) but indeed one of the most lucrative franchises in the galaxy, Mojang will therefore also interfere in the world of the amusement park. For its part, Merlin Entertainments confirms that this is one of its most ambitious projects and promises that “Every ride, attraction and décor element in the park exudes undeniably Minecraft”. For information, Chessington World of Adventures, the park in which Minecraft World will be located, was founded in 1897 and is located 25 kilometers southwest of London. It is notably twinned with a zoo which opened its doors in 1931 while the Sea Life Chessington water park has also been there since 2008. A big piece of English events with a few franchise areas, such as Jumanji to name but a few.
