Intel to upgrade its Arrow Lake-S Refresh range. Following the launch of the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, the giant is preparing to launch the Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus.

This chip is almost identical to the current Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, but without integrated graphics. The information is not official, but it carries a lot of weight considering that Intel officially announced the 250K and KF Plus versions during the Core Ultra 200S Plus announcement.

Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus, no iGPU

In essence, the idea is simple and logical. Gamers often use a dedicated graphics card. Therefore, there is no need for the processor to have an iGPU. It will probably never be used. This is exactly the purpose of a KF variation, a chip very close to the standard version, but at a lower price. As a result, a feature that some of the public may not necessarily need is removed.
