Team Vitality’s Counter-Strike team continues to dominate its opponents, securing its third world title of the 2026 season. They achieved another controlled victory (3-0) against a strong NAVI team in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Grand Final.

The Vitality era shows no signs of slowing down. After consecutively winning trophies at IEM Kraków and PGL Cluj-Napoca, the team extends its exceptional run and once again confirms its status as the world’s best team in Counter-Strike 2.

TEAM VITALITY WINS IN ROTTERDAM

The BLAST Open Rotterdam brought together sixteen of the world’s best teams for a fierce competition at the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena. Tipped as the team to beat, Team Vitality once again delivered, showing no signs of weakness, whether in the group stage or playoffs.

The tournament began with a solid performance from Team Vitality, with a 2-0 victory over 9z. This was followed by two more 2-0 successes against The MongolZ and PARIVISION, with the team not conceding a single map. In the semi-finals, Team Vitality once again dominated Aurora Gaming (2-0) to qualify for the Grand Final. They then continued their momentum by winning against NAVI to clinch the title, with a final score of 3-0.

Ropz delivered an exceptional performance, securing the MVP title after shining in key moments throughout the tournament. His impact proved decisive in the Grand Final, allowing Team Vitality to conclude with authority in Rotterdam.

NEXT STEP FOR TEAM VITALITY: CLOSER TO THE GRAND SLAM

The iconic roster, composed of Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Mathieu “zywOo” Herbaut, Robin “ropz” Kool, William “mezii” Merriman, and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, continues to set the pace and define the CS2 era. Competition after competition, the team confirms its dominance by accumulating trophies and consolidating its position as the world’s number one.

With this new victory, Team Vitality now has its sights set on the prestigious ESL Grand Slam, for the second consecutive year. They only need one more victory in an eligible tournament to secure the million-dollar prize pool. This would make them the first team in history to achieve this sporting feat.

Next up: IEM Rio, from April 13 to 19, where Team Vitality will attempt to win another Grand Slam and further cement their place in history.
