The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro manage to refine the overall performance of their predecessors, making them objectively very good earbuds. Their sleeker design, excellent comfort, and intuitive controls remain, as microphones show improvement. However, they lag in other aspects to truly challenge the top references in the market. The ANC still doesn’t address midrange frequencies enough, battery life is still weak, and the case loses practicality. Most frustratingly, the user experience is still largely locked into the One UI ecosystem, not even offering native multipoint connectivity. Yet, they boast a more natural sound signature compared to the Buds3 Pro, a selling point against the competition.
