A partnership agreement which aims in particular to better understand the needs of companies in order to improve student training.
At the beginning of April, the Unîmes Université foundation and Phytocontrol, founding member, signed a new partnership agreement for a period of three years. A renewal that testifies “the solidity of the links forged between the foundation, the university and the actors of the economic world”, explains the university.

Which details the ambition of the partnership: “Sustainably bringing academic training closer to the needs of businesses, at the service of students.” So, “with nearly 5,800 students, the University of Nîmes pays particular attention to career support, professional integration and the adaptation of training to changes in the world of work. In a context of rapid transformation of professions and skills, this partnership aims in particular “: contribute to the adaptation of training to the professional realities of our territory, encourage exchanges between students, teachers and professionals, create concrete bridges between talents and companies”.
For the Unîmes Université Foundation, the commitment of partners such as Phytocontrol, a major player based in Nîmes and recognized internationally, is essential to support students towards employment and respond to today’s societal and economic challenges. “I thank Phytocontrol for the trust they have shown in us and I look forward to continuing the development of the foundation with them at our side”, concludes Benoit Roig, president of Nîmes University.
