The Ministry of Education has made public the continuous assessment schedule for the third quarter of the 2025-2026 school year, specifying the dates of evaluations, summary assignments, as well as the deadlines for submitting grades and holding class councils.
According to this calendar, May 9, 2026 constitutes the deadline for the completion and correction of control assignments for students in the 7th, 8th and 9th years of basic education as well as for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of secondary education. For students in the 4th year of secondary school, this deadline has been brought forward to May 2, 2026.
The summary homework will take place during the month of May. For the majority of levels, they will take place from May 13 to 16, 2026. At the end of this period, courses will be suspended from May 18 to 21, before resuming normally on May 22 and 23.
For students in the 4th year of secondary school, the comprehensive examinations are scheduled for May 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13, 2026, in accordance with a specific timetable taking into account national deadlines.
Regarding the correction and return of grades, the deadlines extend from May 29 to June 24, 2026, depending on the levels. The deadline for transmitting grades to the administration is June 24, 2026 for the 7th and 8th basic years as well as for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd secondary years. It ends on May 30, 2026 for the 9th basic year and on May 16, 2026 for the 4th secondary year.
The class councils, which mark the end of the third term, will be held between May 21 and June 27, 2026, according to a schedule adapted to each school level.
Furthermore, the ministry has introduced an adjustment in the continuous assessment system in mathematics for this quarter. It was decided to limit itself to a single control assignment in this subject, with the aim of alleviating the pressure on students and improving the efficiency of the evaluation process.
