Seminar at Hodeida University on the role of society in the face of aggression
Hodeidah University today hosted a cultural seminar entitled “The role of Yemeni society in the face of aggression”, organized by the faculties of Sharia, Clinical Pharmacy, Commerce, Education, of Computer Science and Engineering, as well as by the University Student Forum.
During the opening, in the presence of the Rector of the University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahdal, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Youssef Al-Agili, reviewed the Saudi and Emirati aggression supported by the United States and the Zionist entity including Yemen has been the subject since March 26, 11 years ago, as well as the damage caused to various vital sectors and basic infrastructure.
He highlighted the legendary resilience demonstrated by the Yemeni people in all its components in the face of aggression, as well as their ability to adapt, recover and achieve numerous achievements despite the exceptional circumstances.
For his part, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sharia for Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Waheb, addressed the role of the Yemeni tribe in strengthening resilience and supporting the fronts, welcoming the positions of the inhabitants of Tihama and the west coast in the fight against aggression and their rallying around the revolutionary leadership represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.
For his part, the dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharafi, emphasized the importance of the cohesion of the domestic front and the denunciation of the plots of traitors, highlighting the activation of the weapon of the economic boycott of American and Zionist products as a strategic path to weaken the enemies.
Meanwhile, the dean of the university’s libraries, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qulaisi, spoke about conspiracies targeting the social fabric and inciting sectarian tensions, highlighting the role of community initiatives in agriculture, fisheries and the media in strengthening stability.
Finally, the advisor to the rector of the university, Dr. Majid Al-Idrisi, affirmed the failure of the aggression coalition to break the will of the Yemeni people during these 11 years, considering the resistance in the face of hegemony American-Zionist as a religious and national duty.
The seminar took place in the presence of the university’s vice-rector for student affairs, Dr. Abdul-Moamen Al-Montaser, the dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Dr. Afrah Al-Haythami, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Khalil Al-Maamari, as well as a number of faculty members, university officials and a large number of students.
