The students of the Phœnix dojang never miss an opportunity to perfect their art. Saturday March 28, three of them went to Leucate for an intensive preparation course, under the expert direction of master Sébastien Arino and Gaëlle Arino.

Taekwondo is a path of continuous learning, and the 1st dan black belt is a major step. To prepare as best as possible, Alicia Codony, Kimly and Nzila Lefebvre traveled to Leucate. Their objective: to refine their technique and validate their knowledge before the official exam which will take place at the beginning of May.

The three students spared no effort. Under the watchful eye of master Sébastien Arino, helped by Gaëlle Arino, they spent the day reviewing the fundamental bases of taekwondo. The master’s precise analysis made it possible to correct the smallest details, adjust postures and improve the fluidity and power of the movements. movements This precision work is essential to meet the high demands of the 1st dan grade.

This active participation in external courses perfectly illustrates the DNA of Phoœix dojang. The club constantly encourages its members, whatever their level, to train, to open up to other lessons and to constantly seek to improve their technique.

Alicia, Kimly and Nzila return from Leucate with increased confidence and valuable corrections. They are now in the home stretch of their preparation. The club wishes them good luck for this crucial grade change at the beginning of May.
