The grand amphitheater of Avignon University was the venue, Wednesday April 1 in the evening, for the final of the annual eloquence competition. Open to all students at the university, it was recreated three years ago by the law students’ association (AED).
It started at the end of 2025 with 55 candidates, until the elimination phases which engaged seven finalists.
For this event, organized with great professionalism by a team led by Elia Allouche, winner of the 2025 edition and vice-president of the AED, the different candidates competed in front of a very attentive audience and a jury made up of personalities recognized: Maître Anne-Cécile Dubois, president of the Avignon Bar Association, Jean-Philippe Lejeune, president of the Avignon judicial court, Ms. Mornet and Ms. Koumpli, lecturers in Law at Avignon University, Stephen Pisani, director stage and playwright, Mathilde Cazes, winner of the 2024 competition and, finally, the godfather of this edition, the comedian and actor and former lawyer for eighteen years, Sébastien Wust.
