Listen to what students have to say.

During an exchange with students from Da Nang Technical Training University, Le Tien Sy, a fourth-year mechanical engineering student, showed keen interest in the study program, infrastructure, opportunities internship and job prospects after graduation. Like many other students, Sy received prompt and insightful responses to his questions and concerns from the university.

“Through dialogue and exchange, we hope that the institution will develop more flexible support channels, such as an official online feedback platform, regular discussion forums, frequent opinion polls and interactive social networks, so that students’ opinions are heard quickly. The establishment of a student support service, responsible for providing rapid feedback and publishing the results of processing suggestions, will allow students to monitor developments and help to strengthen communication and transparency, while ensuring that student voices are heard and taken into account more quickly in the future. declared Mr. Sy.

During a dialogue program with school leaders on collaboratively building school culture at Da Nang University of Education, Nguyen Ly Phuong Ly, a student at the Faculty of Literature and Communication, said the spirit of open exchange and direct engagement with practical issues have helped bridge the gap between students and school leaders.

Topics such as course registration, internships, corporate semester projects, scientific research activities, living conditions in university residences and student support policies are discussed during these dialogue sessions. This initiative has become an effective two-way communication channel. Beyond simply taking into account the concerns and aspirations of students, university officials directly address issues related to training, learning conditions and support services, thus collecting numerous suggestions for improving the learning environment and the quality of teaching.

Learner-centered approach

Associate Professor Nguyen Le Hung, rector of the Technical Training University, said that in March, the university organized two days of exchanges and dialogue between students from different faculties and management. This initiative allowed the university to collect and understand the aspirations of students regarding their studies and training. The feedback obtained will serve as a basis for the university to improve its training activities, optimize the learning environment and strengthen the quality of student support, with the aim of creating an ever more friendly, modern and student-centered learning environment.

Many universities are also developing exchange spaces allowing students to participate and contribute to the development of the establishment’s culture. During the forum “Students support the construction of the culture of the establishment” of the University of Education, many practical questions relating to rights and university life were raised by the students. In particular, they asked the university to expand individual study spaces, strengthen support for students in scientific research and entrepreneurship, and propose solutions to preserve academic integrity and promote respectful expression on social networks.

Dr. Dinh Thi My Hanh, vice-rector of the University of Pedagogy, believes that these exchanges allowed the university to adapt its training activities and encouraged students to actively participate, share their ideas and collaborate with the establishment to create a positive learning environment. The university will take into account concrete suggestions and proposals from students, thus creating favorable conditions for their involvement and the gradual realization of this collaborative approach.
