Two award-winning school projects in 2025 were presented to the public, illustrating creativity, European openness and local engagement of students. Representatives of the school will be received on Friday April 3 at the Ministry of National Education.
The Culture and Leisure club of Sainte-Eulalie, in partnership with teachers from L’Estagnol schools, organized a conference on Saturday March 28 to allow schoolchildren to present two award-winning projects carried out in class in 2025. After the reception of the public by the president of the association, Chantal Pévéré, a visit to the school and the canteen was offered.
This year 2025, the school’s theme was “street art”, a theme which nourished the children’s projects, works and shows throughout the year. The school has signed up to the eTwinning program called “Street art”. The goal was to take on challenges and make monsters hidden in the walls appear, imagining them in the fountain in the town hall square in the distant future. Being a European project, it was carried out remotely with an exchange of Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Slovak and Polish students.
In Paris Friday
This presentation was also an opportunity for Manau and Joséphine to rehearse what they were going to have to present to the Ministry of National Education this Friday, April 3. The school in a small rural village in Aude won the European label and the first “primary school” prize. This prize was awarded in Paris to Manau and Joséphine in the presence of Florence Artozoul, the professor who supervised this project. The school also received two computers and two tablets.
The second winning project was the “La Clé des Champs” competition, organized by the Mutualité sociale agricole de l’Aude. The goal: to promote professions in agriculture and the environment.
The students visited Charles’ farm in Belzons, who showed them crops, animals, buildings and agricultural equipment. Florence Artozoul presented the completion of this project and thanked the Rigaud family, who welcomed the schoolchildren to their property. The Estagnol school won this first departmental prize, a nice check for €1,300, allowing a day outing to the Sigean African Reserve.
Congratulations to all the schoolchildren and their teachers for this very good collective work which has allowed the Estagnol school to stand out.
