Like every year, the Ministry of National Education makes data available, in particular on the success rate and support for students in middle and high schools. Discover which Breton establishments will stand out in 2026 for their excellent results and support for students.
It has become an annual tradition: Franceinfo publishes, this Friday, April 3, the results indicators provided by the Ministry of National Education, according to the educational establishments.
So, what are the Brevet or Baccalaureate results in my establishment? And in the one next to it? Are students well supported until the exam? Discover the success indicators and compare establishments near you.
For collegesyou can find all the information on general and technological sectors in this search engine. The data available are: the access rate from 6th to 3rd grade, the proportion of 3rd grade students present for the exam, the Brevet success rate and the average written mark for the Brevet tests. These last two criteria are tested for added value, to find out what the establishment really brings to the students.
We consulted these results, here are some examples:
- In Vitré (35), in the private sector, the Ste Jeanne d’Arc college has a 99% pass rate for the patent.
- In Rennes (35), among the public, it is the Ormeaux college which seems to be doing the best, with a 98% pass rate for the certificate.
- In Quimper (29), among the public, the Auguste Brizeux college also displays a 98% pass rate for the patent.
- In Saint-Brieuc (22), in the private sector, it is the Saint-Pierre college which stands out from the crowd with a 97% pass rate for the patent.

For high schoolsyou can find all the information concerning the general, technological and professional series in this search engine. It contains the baccalaureate success rate, the mention rate, the second pass rate for the baccalaureate and, for each, the added value. This last data makes it possible to put the raw results into perspective, depending on the type of establishment. If the added value is positive, it is because the high school is more successful than comparable high schools (age, social origin, gender, academic level at entry to high school). If the added value is negative, it is because it is doing less well than expected.
We consulted these results, here are some examples:
- In the Rennes metropolitan area (35), all high schools obtain good results, with 100% baccalaureate success for six high schools (Lycée Jean-Paul II in Saint-Grégoire, Anita-Conti and Saint-Joseph in Bruz, Ozanam in Cesson-Sévigné, Saint-Martin and Jeanne-d’Arc in Rennes)
- In Brest (29), among the public, the Naval high school also achieved 100% baccalaureate success.
- In Vannes (56), in the private sector, the St Joseph – la Salle and St François-Xavier high schools can also boast 100% success in the baccalaureate.
- In Ploérmel (56), among the public, the Mona-Ozouf high school has a 100% baccalaureate success rate.
- In Rostrenen (22), in the private sector, the Notre Dame de Campostal high school also achieved 100% success in .
However, let us remember the limits of the exercise. As in previous years, franceinfo has chosen not to prioritize establishments, when others produce rankings. Because these national education indicators cannot in any way summarize the quality of an establishment on their own.
