Positioned at the intersection of education and employment, this solution developed in Egypt is based on an approach based on artificial intelligence to support young people from their orientation to their integration into the job market.

Qualiphi is an edtech solution developed by an Egyptian start-up. It offers a technological platform intended to transform the management of students’ career paths. The start-up, based in the city of Cairo, was launched in 2025 by Nevien Magdy.

Concretely, Qualiphi offers a Career Services Management (CSM) platform which allows universities and schools to digitize all of their career services. The tool covers several key stages: exploration of professions, skills development, access to internships and job opportunities, as well as connection with recruiters.

« The platform [Qualiphi, Ndlr] currently supports more than 500,000 students and graduates across 40 universities, as well as a growing network of employers who strive to identify, attract and develop the next generation of talent“, indicated the young shoot.

One of the issues addressed by the solution is the persistent gap between academic training and market needs. By integrating analysis and recommendation tools, the platform helps direct students towards courses more aligned with the expectations of companies, while facilitating recruitment for them.

Qualiphi is part of a regional dynamic of digitalization of higher education and employability services. The start-up already boasts partnerships with several academic institutions and public actors, with the ambition of creating an integrated ecosystem connecting universities, students and employers.

With this in mind, the company has recently strengthened its positioning through external growth operations, aiming to extend its services throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Ultimately, this type of platform could help improve the employability of young graduates, while offering companies more structured access to emerging talents.
