Last Sunday, Evan Laroudie, founder of the Emerit Promotion project, organized his eighth boxing seminar, but this time, entirely reserved for women. Thirteen participants of all ages and levels came for an intensive day (9 a.m.-6 p.m.), combining technical learning, physical and mental strengthening, and group sharing.
Knowing how to surpass yourself, physically and mentally, but also learning boxing, personal defense, and strengthening yourself, that was the main objective of this 100% female boxing course. Organized by boxer Evan Laroudie, it aimed to integrate women from the Ales region in a caring and non-judgmental atmosphere. Surrounded by five qualified coaches, including Evan Laroudie himself (elite boxer in English boxing and main coach), they supervised the participants, each evolving at their own pace.

Among them, Emma Volle, three-time French champion in kickboxing and member of the French kickboxing team, led a session dedicated to this discipline, alongside Bernard Laroudie. Moise Santamaria, actor on France 2 and Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete, also provided his expertise during self-defense workshops, tackling real situations (chokings, tackles, sexual assaults).
A complete program to surpass yourself
The day was punctuated by several workshops:
- Discovery of English boxing: to master the basics and sequences.
- Cardio boxing and step boxing: a booming activity, mixing choreography and musical rhythm for an intense cardio workout.
- Breathing and well-being: a moment to refocus and relieve pressure.
- Self-defense: concrete techniques to protect yourself, while standing or on the ground.
- Foot-fist boxing (kickboxing and full contact): learning kicks and sequences, with a focus on muscle strengthening (abs, shoulders, buttocks).
Strengthen links and go beyond clichés
Beyond sports practice, this course was also an opportunity to strengthen the links between the participants. A collective meal at the restaurant, included in the event, created a friendly and family atmosphere.

Evan Laroudie, present on social networks with nearly 60,000 subscribers, is banking on this dynamic to expand his project to the entire department. HAS” The demand is increasingly growing, particularly among women who still have preconceptions about combat sports, but who realize all the physical and mental benefits “, he confides.
A transformative experience

The participants, whether beginners or experienced, praised the experience: “ It really was a great day! I really appreciated the kindness, the good atmosphere and the energy of the group “, testifies one participant, while others, who were afraid of not being at the level as beginners, highlighted the adaptation and the help provided by the coaches to progress. A last one tells the atmosphere of the group, where no one “ didn’t judge me, on the contrary “, emphasizing the surpassing of everyone in the workshops.
The promoter of the course now aims to democratize access to boxing and other sporting practices, often neglected due to clichés or stereotypical images. Ultimately, he plans to organize courses in the mountains, at the sea, and in different infrastructures in the Gard.
