Montpellier Sauvetage is organizing two aquatic courses for children during the April holidays.

A drowning prevention course is offered to the youngest, aged 4 to 12, from April 20 to 30, with two slots: from 9 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. and from 9:40 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. This course aims to raise children’s awareness of the risks linked to the aquatic environment, while developing their comfort in the water through adapted, fun and progressive exercises. The price is set at €35 and the course is open to members and non-members.

An introductory sports rescue course is also offered from April 27 to 30, for children aged 8 to 13. The mornings, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., will be devoted to aquatic learning and the basics of sports rescue: swimming, towing and use of specific equipment. The afternoons will take place at La Grande-Motte beach, around fun and collective activities: courses, relays, team games and use of rescue equipment. Awareness sessions on risk prevention in aquatic environments will also be offered, with particular emphasis on the values supported by the discipline: solidarity, respect and responsibility. The price of the course is €35 for four days.
