Last day for post-baccalaureate registrations for high school students and reorientation students. This Wednesday, April 1st marks the last day to finalize your applications via the Parcoursup platform.
You still have a few hours to refine your file. This is the time to check the last elements before the next major step: the study of your files then the receipt of the responses to your wishes from June 2.
Here are the essential points to complete on Parcoursup before Wednesday April 1 at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time):
Steps for confirming wishes Parcoursup
- Vœux en alternation : You can no longer add wishes for traditional training, but it is still possible to add wishes for work-study training in order to complete your list (this option remains open until September).
- Modify your wishes if necessary: You can modify the sub-wishes of a multiple wish, add or delete an option on certain licenses, or modify a campus (for IFSI, business/engineering schools with common competition).
- Write or reread your cover letters: Make sure your cover letters are unique and personal. Carefully reread those already written to check the style and the spelling one last time.
- Add the additional pieces: Don’t forget to add the documents requested by certain training courses, such as a CV or a certificate of passing self-assessment or self-positioning tests.
- Complete your “other projects”: mandatory since this year, this “other projects” section allows you to indicate if you have other parallel avenues of Parcoursup: training abroad, employment.
- Pay the processing fees: If certain courses require application fees (for example, for common entrance exams to business or engineering schools), you will have to pay them before this evening.
- Confirm your wishes: Confirm each wish when you are sure of your choice. If you have the possibility of abandoning certain wishes, the confirmation is final.
The steps to perfect your Parcoursup file:
- Check your personal information: Take the time to carefully check the “My Profile” and “My Education” sections (your profile, contact details, transcripts) in order to correct any possible errors.
- Indicate your extracurricular activities: Describe your extracurricular life in the “Activities and interests” section of “My profile”. Although optional, this section can offer the “wish examination committees” of each training a better understanding of your personality.
- Find out about financial aid and housing: Find out now about scholarships and Crous housing applications for next year: the procedure is open!
- For high school students with disabilities: If you have a disabling health condition, you can attach a link form to your Parcoursup file. This approach is recommended to best anticipate your integration into your future establishment.

Once this crucial step has been completed, the Parcoursup platform will transmit your file to the establishments you have chosen, as well as your teachers’ assessments of your wishes via the future form.
The training juries will analyze the files, read the cover letters, and establish lists of those admitted, those refused, and those on the waiting list. Responses to your wishes will be available from June 2, and the admission phase will last until July 10.
If you change your mind between now and then, you can of course abandon training courses and apply for others via the complementary phase, a “second chance” which will take place from June 11 to September 10 but with a more limited number of training courses available.
