JAKARTA – The government, through the National Nutrition Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, launched an e-learning program of financial reporting in nutrition services (SPPG) and a financial reporting application SPPG as part of the state of the art of management and management accountability finances in the implementation of the free nutrition program.
The launch was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 1 of 2004 on Public Finance and numerous regulations of the Ministry of Finance, namely PMK No. 168/PMK.05/2015 as amended by PMK No. 173/PMK.05/2016 and PMK No. 173/PMK.05/2016. PMK No. 132/PMK.05/2021 on government aid expenditures to ministries/institutions.
This measure confirms the government’s commitment to ensuring that the management of the state budget takes place in a transparent and accountable manner, alongside the expansion of coverage of beneficiaries of the national nutrition program.
Currently, the nutrition program covers approximately 60 million beneficiaries served by approximately 23,000 SPPGs spread across Indonesia.
The scale of program coverage was also followed by an increase in the national budget allocation, in 2025 the initial allocated budget reached Rs 71 trillion and increased through the Supplementary Budget (ABT) to Rs 85 trillion.
National Nutrition Agency head Dadan Hindayana insisted the amount of money was a mission that needed to be managed responsibly.
“These funds are people’s money. In every rupee, there is hope that the children of the country grow up healthy, intelligent and excellent. Consequently, the principle of good governance is no longer a choice, but an absolute obligation,” he declared in a statement on Thursday March 13.
In its implementation, the financial management of the program refers to the Decree of the Head of the National Nutrition Agency No. 63 of 2025 which obliges each SPPG to write a reliable accountability report.
The report includes daily, weekly and monthly reports as a form of transparency in the use of the state budget.
However, the government is aware that financial reporting on the ground poses many challenges, especially with the number of SPPGs spread across different regions of Indonesia.
To address this, the National Nutrition Agency is collaborating with the Agency for Financial Education and Training (BPPK) and the General Directorate of Finance of the Ministry of Finance by presenting a solution through a digital learning platform.
Through the Ministry of Finance Learning Center (KLC) platform, SPPG managers can now access an e-learning program for financial reporting preparation flexibly, anytime and anywhere.
In addition to the launch of e-learning, the government introduced the SPPG Financial Reporting Application Version 04 which has been refined to support more efficient and accountable reporting processes.
The application is dedicated to accelerating the financial reporting process, increasing the accuracy and transparency of financial data, while strengthening the preparation of SPPGs for the audit reviews of the Chief Inspector, BPKP and BPK.
Through this moment, the government encourages all SPPG members to improve their management and financial reporting skills.
“Use these facilities with sincerity. Improve your skills. Don’t make financial reporting a burden, but a protective shield in work. With proper reporting, integrity is preserved and the sustainability of Indonesian children’s nutrition can be guaranteed,” he said.
In addition, the government also expressed its gratitude to the financial education and training organizations and the General Directorate of Finance of the Ministry of Finance for their collaboration in strengthening the financial governance system of the national nutrition program.
With a more modern, transparent and accessible reporting system, the government hopes that the management of the nutrition program budget can be more accountable and have a real effect on improving the quality of nutrition and the future of the next generation of Indonesians.
