“The All Risks Agency, it really is. The last chance at the last moment. » For the oldest, the credits of the legendary series still resonate in the heads with a link, it is true, quite tenuous between the impossible missions of the four friends in the black van and the improbable trips of these funny goofs who are Baptiste Lecaplain and Sébastien Thoen. Their “Tourism Agency” has nothing to do with it, other than a play on words. And there are two of them who make a pair of idiots with their under-talented wanderings on vacation, trashy and offbeat humor for informed and willing audiences.

Commissioned by Gérard Jugnot, boss of a discount tourism agency, the two traveling zozos take us on mindless trips to European cities for a thematic weekend. After four episodes in Naples, Bucharest, Seville and Hamburg in 2024, here is a burst of two episodes of around forty minutes, enough for our two nickel-plated feet to show us destinations off the beaten track.

So it will be a feel good weekend in Belgrade and a low-cost weekend in Helsinki. Smiles and unconsciousness on their shoulders, bad jokes full of bags, here they are off to discover the capitals of Serbia and then Finland. First the homeland of Djokovic where they discovered their hotel, the Bali, as kitsch as possible, stuffed from floor to ceiling, with swimming pool in the suite. “It feels like a sexual predator’s villa, it’s not a Puff Daddy weekend! » says Jugnot, who keeps an eye on his flock.

It’s schoolboy

They are having fun, marveling at this stand of t-shirts bearing the image of Slobodan Milošević, the former Serbian president prosecuted for war crimes, in a flea market in Belgrade. The two commies will still shoot with all kinds of weapons, shoot in a totally improbable rap clip, besides the soundtrack is quite cool, local and lively.

And because that’s not feel good enough for the boss, here they are in a pottery workshop reenacting, in their own way, the legendary scene from “Ghost” between Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze around the potter’s wheel. It’s schoolboy. Like clay, it stains a little… In English, we could say “What the fuck!” “It’s the atmosphere.

In Finland, there are three million saunas. Obviously they go there, and find a taxi sauna, or even a free sauna open 24 hours a day. They will even come and sleep there. They also meet a naked young woman there. “Why do you have your jerseys? » she questions. The rule is naked. And to explain to the two awkward people that after the heat, it’s the cold, bathing in the sea. “I prefer to watch all of Quentin Dupieux’s films in a row than to jump into cold water! » says Lecaplain. Thoen jumps into the water.

Free fun and boxing

The atmosphere is one of fun and free canning. “There are plenty of Finns who are addicts,” Sébastien Thoen whispers for a moment. “Are there more than in French cinema? » replies Lecaplain who later falls in love with a female reindeer, triggering the ire of the boss Jugnot who follows everything from a distance. “You’re going to hunt a bear, and if it’s nice, are you going to suck it? » he gets annoyed.

And here they are trying Hobby Horse, this practice which consists of riding a stick with the head of an equine born in Finland. Listening to the questions they ask the passionate young woman they meet and the irony with which they tinge every interaction, one wonders how their stoic interlocutors do not notice to what extent they don’t care about them. But do they care? This doubt, this unease, of which Thoen, formerly of “Action Discrète”, has made a sort of calling card, is omnipresent with their interlocutors.

“There are only trees and people who are pale in this country,” Lecaplain slips again. Here they are now under a floating igloo in the company of a shaman, a Sami, who makes them drink a suspicious mixture. Under trip, they throw their four horrible truths at each other. “Here are the two idiots! » said Jugnot, welcoming them at the start of the episode. A summary. We are clients of this agency or we hate it, but this cannot leave us indifferent.
