Delta is set to introduce its new Delta One® suite on the A350-1000 and expand the suite offering to the A330-200/300 fleet, solidifying its position with the most business class suites among U.S. airlines.
– Delta is unveiling its next generation Delta One suite on the new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft after a deliberate two-year design process and a decade of feedback from customers and employees. – The airline will also equip its Airbus A330-200/300 fleet with Delta One suites for the first time as part of a full overhaul, including an always-open self-serve snack station for Delta One passengers. – All seats on both the A350-1000 and refreshed A330-200/300 fleets will feature Delta’s largest seatback screens ever, along with Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C and universal AC power outlets, and memory foam cushions. – Delta’s modern onboard design, introduced in early 2025, continues to roll out across new aircraft and the current fleet, with plans for over 800 aircraft to have the new interiors in the next five years.
The new Delta One suites on the A350-1000 will debut with a 50% premium seat mix early in 2027, offering privacy doors in the Delta One cabin. In addition, the A330-200/300 fleet will be upgraded with suites for an enhanced onboard experience. These upgrades form a significant investment of over $1 billion for Delta.
Mauricio Parise, vice president of Brand Experience, emphasized the goal of creating a sense of comfort and familiarity for customers when they board Delta flights. The airline’s focus on customer satisfaction has led to positive feedback and a 25-point increase in customer scores since the introduction of the new interior design in 2025.
Delta has been at the forefront of enhancing the customer experience, introducing the first all-suite business class cabin in 2017. The airline continues to lead in this aspect, with plans for 90% of Delta One seats to have suites with sliding privacy doors by 2030.
The next generation Delta One suites on the A350-1000 are configured in a reverse-herringbone layout, with rows facing the windows to provide a spacious feel and added privacy. Thoughtful design elements in these suites are also incorporated into the A330-200/300 aircraft for continuity in the Delta One experience.
Accessibility features have been integrated into both the A350-1000 and A330-200/300 fleets, following consultations with Delta’s Advisory Board on Disability & Accessible Travel. These features include a custom-designed seat control center and a dedicated accessible lavatory for customers with reduced mobility.
In addition to Delta One, premium enhancements have been made in Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins, including a brand-new seat design with extra legroom and seatback shelves. Every seat on both the A350-1000 and A330-200/300 is equipped with memory foam cushions and USB-C and international AC power outlets for customer convenience.
Delta’s investments in its aircraft interiors and onboard experience reflect the airline’s commitment to listening, learning, and investing in what matters most to its customers and employees. These upgrades are part of the ongoing effort to enhance the Delta Difference and provide top-notch comfort and connectivity throughout the flight experience.
