Tuesday April 7, the Alain-Savary college organized for 4th grade students, as part of the “solidarity college” week, a unifying action for prevention and health education entitled “Journey of the heart”.
An event organized in partnership with the French Cardiology Federation which aims to promote preventive behaviors against cardiovascular diseases and to promote solidarity.
The aim of the “Heart Journey” action is to contribute to the three axes of the educational health journey: health education based on the development of psychosocial skills and the training of an enlightened citizen, prevention, protection which focuses on making educational establishments environments favorable to the health and well-being of students.
This day was organized in the form of educational workshops: diet, fight against smoking, physical activity, life-saving gestures, breathing, solidarity commitment. These workshops were led by a multidisciplinary team made up of teachers (PE, SVT, plastic arts, French, librarian), CPE, AED, nurse as well as external partners.
On the other hand, during the “solidarity college” week other events were led by teachers. In particular, Friday April 10, a film screening for all 4th grade students. So, after viewing Bag of marbles, a time for discussion with students and history and French teachers was offered. An operation which is part of the fight against discrimination and anti-Semitism.
