For the very first time, the vocational education section organized an Employment Forum for final year students at the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie school campus, Wednesday April 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This included DN Made (National Diploma in Art and Design), maintenance terminals, tapestry terminals, sculptors and cabinetmakers.
The objective is to help young people who are finishing their training and are looking for a job, or for those who wish to continue their studies. A helping hand to help them find work, create their CV, but also cover letters. Several speakers were present to answer various questions. This forum was set up with several poles, business creation, with the participation of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts. Young people could present their project and find out if it was viable or not. On site, France Travail, the local Mission and engineers were present. This morning was also focused on recruitment, a temp agency was present, as were companies in the field of industry and furniture. Also on the program, training and apprenticeship for those who decide to continue their studies. The information and orientation center, Greta and a school provided information to the young people. Everyone received valuable information.
This perfectly organized forum made it possible to meet the expectations of young people.
Another forum will undoubtedly be held next year.
