Intel’s biggest Battlemage GPU finally appears in close-up, and the numbers add up. Direct consequence: the Arc Pro B70 gains technical credibility beyond the workstation segment.

Tech Guy Beau has posted the full teardown of the Arc Pro B70 32GB single fan, with a clean look at the BMG-G31 package. Measured at approximately 25mm to 15mm, the die reaches ~375mm².
This area is only +7 mm² from the previous estimate of 368 mm², a deviation of approximately 1.9%. For dimensioning on teardown images, the difference remains consistent taking into account the perspective, the readability of the edges and the rounding.
Arc Pro B70 and B65: characteristics and positioning
BMG-G31 currently equips Arc Pro B70 and B65 workstation cards. The B70 has 32 Xe cores, 32 GB of GDDR6 and a 256-bit memory bus. In a small range of games, it offers approximately +45% performance compared to the Arc Pro B60.
The teardown also shows the procedure for disconnecting the power cable and provides the center distance of the mounting points, from which the die measurements are taken. In the absence of a gaming-oriented Arc B770, this profile makes the BMG-G31 relevant beyond professional loads.
