After a short break from game trials, Sony finally takes care of subscribers PS Plus Premium : since April 9, 2026, three new full game trials have appeared on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Two are PS5 titles released at the end of 2025, very well rated, the third a cult tactical from 2019.
These trial versions, all published by Fulqrum Publishingconcern Forgive Me Father 2, Deathless: The Hero Quest et Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark. This is the full, time-limited version: your progress and trophies are kept if you then purchase the game. All you have to do is choose which one to launch first.
PS Plus Premium: what are these 3 free game trials added in April 2026?
In France, game trials are reserved for the level PlayStation Plus Premium : you download the full game, but a timer is running. For this burst of April 2026, Forgive Me Father 2 offers 90 minutes of Lovecraft-style horror FPS, Deathless: The Hero Quest 3 hours of roguelike deckbuilder, and Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark 3 hours of old-fashioned tactical RPG.
Released in September 2025 on PS5, Forgive Me Father 2 runs at 4.39 out of 5 on the PlayStation Storewith “very positive” reviews on Steam and 83 on Metacritic PC (73 sur PS5). Fell Seal did even better with 4.69 out of 5 and a “very positive” label on Steam, while Deathless remains highly rated despite its status as a niche game.
Forgive Me Father 2, Deathless and Fell Seal: what are these trials on PS5 and PS4 worth for players?
If you only have to try one, Forgive Me Father 2 is the ideal candidate: its 90 minutes leave time to discover several weapons, the crazy mechanics and the very well-crafted horror comics atmosphere. Fans of old-school FPS games will quickly see if the fast pace and level design hook them enough to make a purchase.
Rather maps and reflection? The 3 hours of Deathless: The Hero Questa mixture of roguelike, RPG and strategy in a universe of Slavic mythology, allows you to chain together a few runs, try two heroes and test several deck archetypes, a bit like a Slay the Spire. For their part, the 3 hours of Fell Seal already give a good overview of a 40 to 60 hour campaign, between isometric tactical combat and squad management.
PS Plus Premium Trials: how to benefit from it, until when and is it worth it?
To take advantage of it, head to PlayStation Store on your PS5 or PS4 : on the game sheet, a “Trial version” option appears if you are a PS Plus Premium subscriber. The time is only counted down when the game is launched, and Sony specifies that your save as well as your trophies are completely preserved if you go to the checkout.
As of April 10, 2026, no end date has been communicated for these three trials, but as is often the case with the PlayStation Trialsthey are announced for a limited period. Difficult to justify a Premium subscription only for them, but for players already subscribed, these free trials align two very good games PS5 and a tactical cult that should clearly not be ignored.
