Others do not share this opinion at all and believe that La France insoumise is a left-wing party like the others, like the Socialist Party, like the ecologists, like the Communist Party, a party further to the left than all these parties, but without being extreme left. Finally, there are those for whom very clearly, the positions taken by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, in particular the break with capitalism or clear positions on a lot of things classify rebellious France as the extreme left. And those who affirm that depending on the French political panel today, compared to a reformist left, such as the Socialist Party, we can also consider that France Insoumise is an extreme left party.
Until then, let us specify that the parties which were qualified all the time and without any discussion about it as extreme left, it was the NPA, the New Anticapitalist Party, and Lutte Ouvrière, which were from the start classified as the extreme left.
