  • The government is still under pressure in the face of the situation surrounding pump prices.
  • Several sectors continue to demand aid.
  • On LCI, a grain farmer expects “net measures”.

What will the government do? He is still under pressure on the issue of fuel prices while targeted aid for certain professions must be announced soon. The increase observed in recent weeks in the stations worries farmers.

In Yvelines, Alexandre Cordonnier, grain farmer, has to refuel his agricultural machinery. Problem, the price of non-road diesel (GNR) has almost doubled in recent weeks. “We are going to arrive at this harvest period where we have to consume GNR. We are looking at very, very high consumption”explains this professional to LCI.

The cereal farmer fears a loss of several thousand euros in 2026. This situation could therefore push him to sell his more expensive cereals. He therefore has a clear message for the government: “We would like clear measures to fall on us now”explains the farmer. Since the start of the crisis, the government has been against the implementation of universal aid or a price freeze.
