The all-business boutique airline beOnd has announced the opening of new routes linking London and Paris to the Maldives, from December 2026.

Three weekly rotations are planned on each route, departing from London-Heathrow airport and Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle to Malé international airport. These night flights will be operated in both directions by Airbus A321.

However, they will not be direct and will include a technical and refueling stopover at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.

These new lines departing from London and Paris are added to the European services already provided by beOnd between the Maldives, Munich, Zurich and Milan.

The company will also strengthen some of these European routes. Flights to Munich will increase from two to four per week, and those to Zurich from two to five. These changes will take effect from mid-December 2026.

Luxury business class flights

beOnd presents itself as “the first pure luxury airline” and currently only operates two aircraft, an Airbus A321 and an Airbus A319.

On board, all seats are business class armchair beds, with high-end service and a careful catering offer, prepared by internationally renowned chefs and inspired by the flavors of different destinations.

Flights remain deliberately small in capacity to preserve exclusivity, with a maximum of 68 passengers on the A321. The cabins also feature seat shells designed by Ferrari and Italian leather finishes.

Passengers can also enjoy Beats headphones and Apple virtual reality headsets, as well as Apple iPad Pros in place of traditional built-in screens for in-flight entertainment.

Tickets also include a private chauffeured pickup service.

beOnd is backed by investment firm Arabesque and a Maldivian FMCG group, SIMDI Group. Its headquarters are currently in Dubai, with a base in Maldives.

The only other fully business class airline in the world is currently France’s La Compagnie, which operates flights to and from North America.
