For Easter, this viral chocolate chip recipe on TikTok might just tempt you

If you follow food trends on social media, you’ve probably already come across this viral recipe. TikTok users had the funny idea of pouring melted chocolate into a box of Pringles, and the result might just make you want to try it with your family this Easter weekend.

The “Recette” – if we can call it that – is very simple, since you only need a box of these plain chips and a lot of chocolate, between four and six bars depending on the videos, as you can see in the video above. Internet users often opt for milk chocolate but it can also be white or dark. You can also mix them.

Once the chocolate has melted, pour it directly into the package then place it in the fridge for three to four hours. Other content creators have twisted the recipe to make a bar, or a version with Dubai chocolate cream.

But then, why is this combo convincing? The crunchy texture of Pringles works well with the melting side of chocolate. And the chips are quite neutral, except for the salty taste, which goes very well with chocolate, especially if you like something sweet and salty. Not sure that these arguments are valid for recipes based on cream and onion chips…

This association is actually not that new. In Norway, a famous snack is made from cone-shaped chips filled with chocolate. And closer to home, the Belsia brand chocolate chips were presented at the Agricultural Show in 2026.
