Despite being broadcast on Disney+the anime THE FABLE seems to have generated enough attention to get a season 2! Here’s what we know!
It was with the broadcast of a promotional visual that we discovered that the sequel to the anime THE FABLE was in production.
No change to the casting for this season 2. And the same goes for the production team. Ryōsuke Takahashi will be the director of this sequel at the studio Tezuka Productions. Takashima’s YÅ« will write and supervise the scripts for the series, with Mayumi Morita. Finally, Saki Hasegawa et KyÅ«ma ÅŒshita will be character-designer. Alone To Tsuji is added, as a composer.

THE FABLEIt is a manga aboutKatsuhisa Minami. The title was released in 2014 in the pages of Young Magazine de Kodansha. To date, the title has 22 volumes and is finished. In France, these are the editions Pika who publish the title.

The title won the 41stKôdansha Manga Awards in 2017 in the general category. It was also adapted into a live-action film in December 2019.
A second part, THE FABLE – The Second Contactwas published in 2021. It ended on July 10, 2023. It has 8 volumes but is not available in France.
The third part THE FABLE – The Third Secret is still in progress at the moment, and has been since March 2025. There are currently 3 volumes in Japan.
The 24 episodes of season 1 are still available on Disney+ !
