Ranking of Vaucluse high schools: our 2026 methodology

To establish our high school rankings, our editorial team decided to base it on three major criteria. First, the excellence of the results with the baccalaureate success rate, the rate of mentions and the added value indicators (the capacity of high schools to support and progress their students according to the level that the latter possessed when entering second year). Our methodology also takes into account the diversity of the social profile of students within the establishment or the number of specialties offered (to favor high schools which offer a diversity of choices of specialties to their students).

Definitions to remember to understand the criteria for our high school rankings:

  • Success rate: indicates the percentage of students who passed the baccalaureate exam.
  • Secondary school access rate to the baccalaureate: measures the capacity of a high school to lead its students from the second class to success in the baccalaureate.
  • Expected rates: comparison between the results obtained and those expected based on various factors such as the academic level of students when they enter high school.
  • Added value on the criteria: evaluates the effect of high school teaching and supervision on improving student performance.
