The TerrOpera association of Terraube, led by David Levi, unveils its lyrical program for 2026.
Founded by pianist David Levi, the TerrOpera association aims to create and produce musical shows around Terraube. TerrOpera thus announces three programs of lyrical music for the 2026 season.
May will start with Gloria Tronel. This virtuoso coloratura soprano (operas of Paris, Copenhagen) will join the gem of Gascony, cellist Susan Edward, and pianist David Levi, to sing poems by Anna Akhmatova, set to music by John Tavener. Music by Schubert and other composers from the romantic and modern era will be part of the program. It will be on Friday, May 15th, at 7 pm, at Nautucat, Larroque-Saint-Sernin, and on Saturday, May 16th, at 5 pm, at La Bourdère, Caillavet.
In July, it will be the 7th edition of “A Night at the Opera” with three young talents who delighted the audience last year: Esther Schneider, soprano, Piotr Gryniewicki, tenor, and Łukasz Gorczyński, baritone. They will be on stage with a brand new program of duos and trios. It will be on Wednesday, July 29th, starting at 8 pm, at Guiraud, La Sauvetat.
A touch of Broadway jazz
Finally, under the starry sky of August, in the courtyard of the Terraube castle, TerrOpera will honor two of the greatest personalities of French lyrical song, Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri, in a musical repertoire of Broadway jazz, in partnership with virtuoso double bassist Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac and David Levi on piano. To be enjoyed on Friday, August 14th, at 8:30 pm, at the Terraube castle.
TerrOpera invites everyone to attend these concerts and support the association through membership and/or donations “to make this extraordinary season possible.”
