TerrOpera Association in Terraube, led by David Levi, unveils its operatic program for 2026.
Founded by pianist David Levi, TerrOpera aims to create and produce musical shows around Terraube. TerrOpera is announcing three programs of operatic music for the 2026 season.
In May, Gloria Tronel will kick off the month. This virtuoso coloratura soprano (performing in Paris, Copenhagen) will join the jewel of Gers, cellist Susan Edward, and pianist David Levi to sing poems by Anna Akhmatova, set to music by John Tavener. Music by Schubert and other composers from the romantic and modern era will be part of the program. The event will take place on Friday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. in Nautucat, Larroque-Saint-Sernin, and on Saturday, May 16, at 5:00 p.m. in La Bourdère, Caillavet.
In July, the 7th edition of “A Night at the Opera” will feature three young talents who wowed the audience last year: Esther Schneider, soprano, Piotr Gryniewicki, tenor, and Łukasz Gorczyński, baritone. They will be on stage with a brand-new program of duos and trios. The performance will take place on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 8:00 p.m. at Guiraud, La Sauvetat.
Lastly, in August, under the starry sky, TerrOpera will honor two of the greatest French operatic singers, Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri, at the Château de Terraube. They will perform a repertoire of Broadway jazz with virtuoso double bassist Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac and pianist David Levi. Catch the show on Friday, August 14, at 8:30 p.m. at Château de Terraube.
TerrOpera invites you to come in large numbers to these concerts and support the association through membership and/or donations “to make this extraordinary season possible.”
