The TerrOpera association of Terraube, led by David Levi, unveils its lyric programming for 2026.
Founded by pianist David Levi, the TerrOpera association aims to create and produce musical shows around Terraube. TerrOpera announces three lyric music programs for the 2026 season.
May will start with Gloria Tronel. This virtuoso coloratura soprano (Paris Opera, Copenhagen) will join the jewel of Gers, cellist Susan Edward, and pianist David Levi, to sing poems by Anna Akhmatova, set to music by John Tavener. Music by Schubert and other composers from the romantic and modern era will be part of the program. It will be on Friday, May 15, at 7 pm, at Nautucat, Larroque-Saint-Sernin, and on Saturday, May 16, at 5 pm, at La Bourdère, Caillavet.
In July, the 7th edition of “A Night at the Opera” will feature three young talents who delighted the audience last year: Esther Schneider, soprano, Piotr Gryniewicki, tenor, and Łukasz Gorczyński, baritone. They will be on stage in a brand new program of duets and trios. It will be on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 8 pm, at Guiraud, La Sauvetat.
A touch of Broadway jazz
Finally, under the starry sky of August, in the courtyard of the Terraube castle, TerrOpera will honor two of the greatest personalities of French lyric singing, Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri, in a musical repertoire of Broadway jazz, with virtuoso bassist Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac and David Levi on piano. To be found on Friday, August 14, at 8:30 pm, at the Terraube castle.
TerrOpera invites everyone to come to these concerts and support the association through membership and/or donations “to make this exceptional season possible.”
