Saturday April 18
On Saturday, April 18, Woodyatt Park will take on the appearance of a great spring festival during the Un air de verre event. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the public is invited to enjoy a varied program to mark the arrival of the summer season.
“The return of spring is a special time to get together and enjoy our public spaces. An air of spring is part of this desire to offer accessible and unifying activities to the population. I invite citizens to participate in large numbers,” said the mayor of Drummondville, Jean-François Houle.
“With its varied programming and warm atmosphere, An Air of Spring transforms Woodyatt Park into a real place to live. It’s a great opportunity to rediscover this space as a family and enjoy a unifying moment in the heart of our community,” added the area’s municipal councilor, Catherine Lassonde.A program that will please the whole family
Throughout the day, young and old can take part in a variety of activities. Children will have the opportunity to visit the farm, take part in gardening workshops and have their face painted. Several play areas will also be set up, including mini golf, an obstacle course and archery tag, to get the whole family moving. Carriage rides will also be back and promise, once again, to delight visitors of all ages.
A food zone will allow participants to take a gourmet break. Queues de Castor, Sucrerie de Courval and Les 1001 Fantaisies de Caro will be on site to offer a variety of sweets.
