Alexandra Lamy can be proud of her daughter, Chloé Jouannet. At the age of 28, the young woman is embarking on the adventure of directing her first film. Although initially not supposed to participate, Alexandra Lamy now has a small role in the film.
On 26th March, during her appearance on the show “C à vous”, the actress talked about her daughter’s film: “She told me: ‘I’m taking the best from the family,’ and I’m not part of it. What’s this story?”. In an interview with “M6”, Alexandra Lamy shared the progress of the project. “She asked me to do a small thing in it, and of course, I said yes,” she said with a smile. She added, “I’m super happy! It’s great. Honestly, it’s wonderful.”
Defending her daughter’s career, Alexandra Lamy addressed the criticism faced by Chloé Jouannet, like many “daughters of,” especially on social media, where some users criticize her privileges as a “nepo baby.” During the interview, the former partner of Jean Dujardin stood up for her daughter. “It’s even harder for her. It’s even more violent because you pay for being [a ‘daughter of’],” she announced. Concluding enthusiastically, “She made a short film, won 30 awards, she worked hard… I’m so proud of her. I can’t wait for her to direct me, it’s great!”
