Nice, Marseille or Toulouse: Transavia is strengthening flights between Paris and the south of France. Find out how to take advantage of these new connections and flexible services that adapt to the needs of each traveler!

If you are one of the people who often travel between major French cities, whether for work or to see your friends, you will appreciate the new connections operated by Transavia. The airline makes a point of offering fast and accessible journeys between different regions of the country. First well known for its European destinations and its flights to sunny countries, the company began several years ago to also position itself on domestic flights. It already offers several connections from Paris-Orly, allowing for example to reach Montpellier, Perpignan, Biarritz or Toulon. And today, Transavia organizes regular flights between Paris and several cities in the region, to offer maximum flexibility to passengers. The company is marking a major step in its development here, and you will be able to benefit from it very soon, since the new routes will be open from March 29.

Transavia is organizing more departures between Paris and major cities in the South

Transavia makes it a point of honor to increasingly adapt to passenger expectations. The company now offers several flexible price ranges, Basic, Smart, Plus and Max, which allows all travelers to select the level of service that best suits their trip. Those who want more comfort or flexibility can, for example, opt for the Max fare, which includes the choice of seat, one piece of checked baggage, the possibility of changing their flight up to one hour before departure, and priority access to security checks. In spring 2026, the company also plans to open a Transavia lounge at Paris-Orly, located near the boarding gates. Customers who have opted for the Max rate as well as Flying Blue Platinum and Ultimate members will be able to access it for free. Partner lounges are also accessible in several airports, such as Nice, Toulouse, Marseille and Montpellier.

And that’s not all, because from March 29, 2026, Transavia resumes connections to Nice, Marseille and Toulouse from Paris-Orly. Reservations are already open, and travelers can now anticipate their trips between the capital and the major cities of the south of France.

Concretely, the flight offer will be particularly dense with up to 8 daily departures to Nice, 8 to Toulouse and 2 to Marseille. Flights will be operated from Orly 2, with aircraft positioned as a priority in contact with gates 2C, which reduces travel time between check-in and boarding. Access to the terminal is also easier thanks to metro line 14, which now connects the center of Paris in around 20 minutes. These new connections are added to the offer already offered by Air France on departure from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, because from CDG, the national company now provides 12 daily flights to Nice, 12 to Toulouse and 10 to Marseille.

Earn miles with the Flying Blue program

The Flying Blue program is the loyalty program of the Air France-KLM group, used by the group’s companies such as Air France, KLM and Transavia. It allows travelers to earn Miles on every flight, then use them to book plane tickets, get upgrades or enjoy other travel-related benefits. How this program works is very simple: members earn Miles when they take an eligible flight with Air France, KLM, Transavia or with certain partner airlines, knowing that the number of Miles depends on the price of the ticket and the member’s status in the program.

At the same time, travelers also accumulate XP (Experience Points) which allow them to progress through the different levels of the program (Explorer, Silver, Gold or Platinum) and to access additional benefits such as priority boarding or access to airport lounges. Finally, members can also accumulate Miles when booking hotels, car rentals or via certain online services.
