Synopsis – Nations of the Bloody Sun
In the near future, at the end of the era ReiwaJapan gradually collapsed. Unable to follow the artificial intelligence revolution, the country was then hit indirectly by a global nuclear warcausing a massive influx of refugees, an epidemic and a succession of natural disasters. These crises led to a generalized insurrection and a brutal decline in society, comparable to that of the end of the 19th century.
Japan ends up fragmenting into three rival nations: Yamato à l’ouest, Whole à l’est et I was in the north, each engaged in an armed struggle for power, in a narrative structure inspired by the Chinese novel The Three Kingdoms.
The story begins in a rural area in the territory of Yamatowhere the young Aoteru Misumisees his life turned upside down when his wife Saki is brutally executed by a regime officer shortly after their marriage.
