Twilight: Netflix responds to fan criticism and rectifies the situation – Télé-Loisirs

You were impatiently waiting to find the saga Twilighttwenty years after the release of the first film! But, like many, you were probably disappointed to discover a dubbing problem, making viewing more complex, even unpleasant…

This was supposed to be good news for fans of Twilight ! Arriving on Netflix on March 25, the films of the vampire saga nevertheless irritated them… The source of this mixture of anger and disappointment? The streaming platform has put the Canadian version online, and not the French dubbing of the film. Contacted by TV-LeisureNetflix makes a promise to fans: “The problem should be resolved quickly.”

Furious, many fans shared their discontent on social networks! Impossible for some to stand the new voices of their favorite heroes, especially those of Bella and Edward. They then fell back on the original English version, adding French subtitles. They should therefore rejoice to know that Netflix will put the French version of Twilight.

The problem should, however, be temporary and this bad start will soon be nothing more than an ancient story! Fortunately also, alone Twilight, chapter I: Fascinationthe first part of the saga, is affected by this problem. Good news: you can therefore watch and properly appreciate the other four films in the franchise and find the French voices you know to dub Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson, respectively provided by Noémie Orphelin and Thomas Roditi.

This is not the first time that Netflix has faced dubbing or sound problems. If this concerns you, you must report it to the streaming platform via its help center. Furthermore, it is not always possible to see films and series dubbed in the language of Molière… Which sometimes makes subscribers laugh, believing that “it spoils their pleasure”, as we can read on the Netflix France Facebook account managed by TV-Leisure.
