In Thaon-les-Vosges, a socio-cultural structure is setting up an introductory workshop in the performing arts intended for children aged 7 to 10. This session will be held from April 20 to 24, each afternoon, in a cultural facility in the town.
The program offers a discovery of the fundamentals of theatrical acting through practical exercises and collective scenarios. Participants will be required to work on oral expression, posture and public speaking.
Over the course of the week, the children will develop short scenes, with a presentation planned at the end in front of an audience. This sequence marks the culmination of the work carried out during the workshop.
Registration is conditional on membership in the organizing structure and gives access to all of the planned activities. The financial contribution is set at 50 euros for the duration of the internship.
Artistic education: increased access to cultural practices
On a national scale, this type of initiative is part of the development of artistic and cultural education actions carried out by communities and associative structures, aiming to promote early access to stage practices and to strengthen the transversal skills of young audiences.
