Loana Petrucciani, known by her first name, was found dead on March 25, 2026, at her home in Nice, France, at the age of 48. The news of her death caused shock in the media world, especially in the reality TV industry.

A week later, doctors released the results of her autopsy, revealing new information about the circumstances of her death.

Disclosed by Le Parisien on March 31, 2026, medical exams confirmed “a superficial scalp wound compatible with a fall from body height to the ground,” as well as “small bruises on the back, lumbar, and buttocks compatible with the hypothesis of a fall on the ground,” according to the public prosecutor.

Furthermore, contrary to previous speculation, the involvement of a third party was ruled out by forensic doctors, who found “an absence of fractures, signs of violent blows, traces of strangulation or gripping.”

At this stage, the exact cause of Loana’s death has not been determined, and could be due to medical or toxic reasons. Further analysis will help specify the hypothesis of a toxic-related death. Loana’s body has been handed over to her family.

Loana was found lifeless around 6 pm on March 25, 2026, by firefighters, alerted by a concerned neighbor who had not seen her for several days. The winner of the first season of Loft Story in 2001 was “evidently deceased for several days,” as stated by the public prosecutor, who also mentioned that her dog was found dead as well.

Loana had lived with other anonymous individuals for ten weeks, 24 hours a day, under the cameras of M6, in the first reality TV show broadcast in France, which inspired the series Culte on Prime Video in 2024. However, Loana gradually withdrew from the show business world, facing violence and health issues. She had also made several suicide attempts.
