Ten children aged over 8 took part in workshops dedicated to Minecraft, at the Bettancourt-la-Ferrée media library, on March 18 and 21 in the afternoon.

There were five of them, Saturday March 21, playing the escape game in the world of Minecraft. The game was loaned by the Departmental Media Library and was an entertaining time. The entertainment was provided by Céline Robert, the manager, and the young Doha who helped prepare the game. The participants played the escape game “Minecraft Earth” by Stéphane Anquetil and had the mission to save Paris from an evil hacker, Pharaon. Several puzzles had to be solved using clues, with the aim of stopping a computer virus that has wreaked havoc in the city. The children also had to look for the game cards hidden in the media library, in order to find the puzzles. The escape game allowed participants to immerse themselves in the Minecraft adventure.

A bridge atelier à come

Secondly, the children met for a coloring workshop. They created several Papercraft drawings representing different Minecraft characters such as creepers, a dragon, a zombie, a pig and a sheep. This drawing time allowed everyone to give free rein to their creativity. This week, a bridge discovery workshop will take place Thursday March 26 and Friday March 27, at 3 p.m. It will be hosted by Jacky Riehl, at the Bettancourt media library.
