London, (SANA) President Ahmad al‒Charaa and the delegation accompanying him met, this Tuesday, at the Reform Club in London, representatives of large British companies as well as British and Syrian businessmen.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Syria and the United Kingdom and improve the business environment and investment opportunities to serve common interests.
“Today we are engaged in a real battle for the reconstruction of our devastated country. Syria constitutes a very important opportunity for everyone, one of the best investment opportunities in the world,” declared President Al‒Charaa.
This meeting is part of President Al‒Charaa’s official visit to the United Kingdom, accompanied by a ministerial delegation.
During this visit, President al-Sharaa met with senior British officials to examine ways to strengthen bilateral relations, serve the common interests of the two countries and develop cooperation in the areas of development and investment.
