Himmelpforten will once again be the meeting place for literature enthusiasts from the region and beyond on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm. Entry to the Eulsetehalle at Marktstr. 5 is free on both days.
Numerous exhibitors will showcase a diverse range of books, including entertainment literature, children’s and youth books, non-fiction works, and works by independent authors and publishers. The focus is on personal interaction between the audience and writers.
A special highlight is the book premiere by Klaus Baumgart of the music duo Klaus & Klaus. He will present his autobiography for the first time at the book fair, offering personal insights into his life on and off the stage. This program promises special attention and many encounters with the audience.
The book fair rally invites visitors to experience the event in an open and communicative manner, engaging in conversations with exhibitors, getting to know the books, and directly discussing content and stories. Small prizes add to the motivation and joy of participation.
