More animations in store. In April, the Vernon cinema in Eure continues to offer special sessions to its audience.

A flying start on Sunday, 5th April 2026 with no less than three scheduled sessions.

At 10:30 am, get ready for the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy. You can win McDonald’s Mario meals and gifts from the Cash Express store. After the session, from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, five consoles will be available in the lobby to try out different video games from the Mario universe.

“The Pix Hell Fest organizers will lend us a Super Nintendo, a Family Computer, a Nintendo 64, a Nintendo Nes, and a Wii,” details Frédérique Perrette, the cinema director.

Easter at the Movies

At 2:30 pm, it’s time for an egg hunt during the screening of Walter Rabbit. The day will end on a humorous note: at 6 pm, a preview of the comedy What is Love? “The official release of the film is scheduled for May 6, one month later. We will have the presence of Fabien Gogeart, the director of the film, who will answer questions from the audience at the end of the session,” continues the cinema director.

The next day, Monday, 6th April, the cinema will open its doors from 10 am to 6 pm for its traditional poster sale. The list of available posters will be revealed the previous weekend on the cinema’s Facebook page (no reservations possible). As for prices, it’s 4 euros for a small poster (40X60 cm) and 8 euros for a large one (120X160 cm).

Wednesday, 8th April, at 2 pm, enjoy a cinema snack with the screening of Peppa at the Movies: The Family Grows! (suitable for ages 3 and above). The program includes unpublished episodes combined in a 45-minute format, followed by a snack offered by La Mie Céline.

The Fil rouge sessions are back on Thursday, 9th April at 8:30 pm with the screening of The Shadow of Stalin in partnership with the Theatres of Seine Normandy Agglomeration Culture. “The film is linked to the show Unmanageable Woman, played on Friday, 10th April,” says Frédérique Perrette.

Manga and Environment

Manga fans can head to the cinema-theatre on Friday, 17th April at 8:30 pm to watch Lupin, the deadly line. An animation is planned before the session with the Vernon manga club.

The final event will delight nature lovers. On Friday, 24th April, in partnership with the Cap au Vert environmental association, the cinema offers a screening of the documentary Animus Femina at 8:30 pm.

“The association will give a presentation and the Compagnie des Livres will have a stand in the lobby with a sale of books related to the documentary theme. The session will have a single fee of 6.5 euros,” concludes Frédérique Perrette.
